Mike's Meadow Muffin for September 19, 2005

Just a B.S. artist

"To stretch The Truth, just enough,

That's the story tellers art,

You now that half my tale is lies,

But, can you figure out which part! "

In the dozen years since I wrote those words,

I have been asked a thousand times,

Where I get the inspiration,

for the tales I spin in rhymes.

I really do not make stuff up,

I have no... big lies... to repent,

Because reality is generally more ridiculous,

Than anything I could invent.

and it aint my job to sift the pile,

and tell you what is true,

I just craft the tales, as best I can,

the rest is up to you!
