Of all the Charlie Browns in the world, He was the Charlie Brownest!

Of all the Charlie Browns in the world,

He was the Charlie Brownest!

As the full moon rises o'er the pumpkin patch,

An eerie mist floats from the ground

In ragged wisps it whirls and swirls,

But there's no breath of wind around.

Fear grips the hearts of those who watch,

This ghostly spectre rise,

With long ears erect, a big black nose,

and flashing beagle eyes.

Halloween, reminds me of Charlie Shultz,

and the cartoons that he drew,

May the true spirit of the Great Pumpkin,

Always nourish the child in you !
