In Answer to Willy Shakespeare's Questions...

A Rose...

by any other name...

would be ten bucks cheaper a dozen,

and likely smell the same!

But after thirty years beside me,

My girl has earned a rose or two.

We raised our kids and bunch of cows ,

and some how we got through.

The sleepless nights of calving cows,

the fires, floods and drought,

and all the years she worked in town,

to help our cash flow out.

But the good days have outweighed the bad,

Although I'm a cheap ol' coot it's true,

After all theses years, my Valentine,

has earned a rose or two!
