First Taste of Spring!

I've only got three horses in right now,

Two youngsters and the old brood mare.

The page wire around their wintering ground,

Is showing some wear and tear.

They scorn their manger full of hay,

as on the fence they lean,

reaching...stretching...neck and wire,

straining for a taste of ...

Green!
