About Time You Guys Showed Up!

They tell me Spring is finally here,

For that we can give thanks.

 If April Fools Day falls on Sunday,

Will that cut down on the pranks?

It snowed a bit here yesterday,

The puddles were froze this morning.

Maybe, some one has sneaked up and stolen,

My share of global warming!

I’m on my second cup of coffee,

In the first grey light of dawn,

I see them scratching in the garden,

They bob and scurry across the lawn.

They are darn sure running late this year,

But they finally came along

It’s time to put the snow shovel in the shed,

Forty robins can’t be wrong!
