Pan Phillips Said It Best

In the saddle by daybreak,

The cows brush-up by ten,

Defying the best efforts,

Of horses and men.

Horseflies, love sunshine,

 Mosquitoes, love shade,

Black flies aint fussy,

Itís fresh blood they crave.

Of all the inventions,

that ever arrived in  the West,

Chainsaws and bug-dope,

 Was darn sure the Best!
