Spent Monday morning sorting cattle,

Took my yearling pup along,

She worked real well, for a youngster,

Hardly done a darn thing wrong.

It was kind of warm that morning,

And when she needed to cool off,

So found herself a stinking wallow,

Beside the water trough.

....

So I rode home along the river,

Tied my horse up to a log,

Threw sticks until my arm was tired,

She played fetch...I washed my dog.
