As Labour Day weekend rolls around

I’m making plans to go,

Spin some rhymes and tales,

At the Fall Fair and Rodeo.

It’s the Diamond Anniversary,

Sixty years of rural pride,

Livestock shows, broncs & produce,

Bringing folks from far and wide.

From 4-H steers to fancy stitching.

Home baked pies to cowboy tough,

It’s a showcase of our lifestyle,

A Diamond in the Rough !
