Don Quixote Rides Again!|
(My apologies to Gordon Lightfoot)
His horse is old, his lance is splintered,
Both relics of a bygone age.
What roused this old knight from his slumber?
What tyrant sparked his righteous rage?
When did honour go out fashion?
Exactly when did chivalry die?
We may learn to live with an unjust tax,
But I doubt if we'll forgive the lie!
Through the woods the hills and valleys,
Who can this brave old horseman be?
Tilting at the windmills passing,
To slay the monstrous H.S.T.
